Forwa PTFE Film
Forwa PTFE Film is a high performance film material made primarily from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin. It is specifically engineered for advanced wire and cable insulation applications and is available in two forms: unsintered (raw PTFE film) and sintered (fully sintered PTFE film).
Unsintered PTFE Wrapping Film is produced from PTFE dispersion resin and offers excellent stretchability and wrapping performance. After being wrapped around the cable conductor, it undergoes hightemperature sintering, during which the film melts and shrinks to form a dense, continuous, and transparent insulation layer.
Sintered PTFE Wrapping Film is presintered before delivery. After wrapping, no additional sintering process is required, making production simpler and more efficient.
