(FORWA) recently convened a special meeting on work safety and simultaneously launched a company-wide safety inspection, thereby taking concrete actions to solidify the safety foundation for the enterprise’s high-quality development.
Special Meeting: Strengthen Accountability and Keep the Alarm Bell Ringing
The meeting was held in the company’s conference room, chaired by the Safety Production Committee, and attended by all department heads and workshop managers. During the meeting, the company’s Chief Safety Officer first presented several recent, representative safety production incidents in the industry and, drawing on the company’s actual production conditions, conducted an in-depth analysis of the current weaknesses and potential risks in safety production work. The meeting underscored that safe production is the lifeline of corporate development and must never be taken lightly at any time.
The core agenda of the meeting is Sign the “2026 Annual Work Safety Responsibility Agreement” The company’s general manager has signed responsibility agreements with the heads of each workshop, cascading safety production objectives down to every post and assigning specific responsibilities to individual employees. These agreements clearly define the specific duties and performance indicators for each workshop in areas such as safety production management, identification and remediation of potential hazards, and employee safety training, thereby establishing a responsibility system that extends horizontally to all levels and vertically to every position.
Specialized Inspections: Leave No Blind Spots, Investigate and Rectify Immediately
Following the conclusion of the special meeting, a inspection team led by company executives and comprising representatives from the safety management department and workshop supervisors promptly conducted a comprehensive, grid-style safety production inspection across all production areas. The team focused on meticulously examining fire-fighting equipment, electrical wiring, protective measures for mechanical equipment, storage of hazardous chemicals, and compliance with operational procedures among employees in each workshop.
During the inspection, the inspection team left no detail overlooked, meticulously documenting any hazards identified on-site, providing immediate feedback, and requiring the responsible departments to Time-bound rectification and closed-loop management , ensuring that all potential hazards are eliminated. At the same time, the inspection team conducted random spot checks on employees’ knowledge of fire equipment operation and emergency evacuation routes, and provided on-site refresher training and re-emphasis on these critical topics.
